Aquastop Classic range of Flood Barriers were installed at this old residence in South Delhi. Over several decades, the road level has increased due to relaying. This has resulted in the level of the houses being lower than road level.

It was decided to place the Flood Barrier at the main gate to stop any flooding inside the house as the slope goes further downward in the driveway.

This particular residence required some modifications of civil work at the main gate so that permanent brackets of the Flood Control Barriers could be fixed there. These brackets are crucial in providing proper anchoring to the flood gates.

The length of the main gate being nearly 4 meters required us to position a removable intermediate column. This column along with the barriers can be safely stored away when not in use thereby giving clear unobstructed passage to any vehicles.The floor of the main gate was fitted with a special steel plate to give a perfect seal to the bottom gaskets of flood barriers.
