Frontier Flood Barriers engineered and installed a flood protection solution spanning 4.0 m in width and 0.8 m in height, utilizing BIS-certified, high-strength aluminium modular barriers manufactured in India

At the Chennai facility, the primary requirement was to secure a 5.0 m wide factory entrance, where uncontrolled surface runoff during heavy rainfall posed a risk of water ingress and disruption to ongoing operations. Frontier Flood Barriers designed and installed a 5.0 m wide, 1.0 m high flood protection system incorporating a removable intermediate support column to maintain structural stability while allowing operational flexibility.

The engineered solution effectively mitigated floodwater entry, ensuring uninterrupted factory operations during extreme weather events and demonstrating the system’s reliability, adaptability, and performance in industrial environments.

Both the systems were precision-fitted to ensure full perimeter sealing and structural integrity under hydrostatic pressure. Comprehensive on-site testing was conducted in the presence of factory personnel, successfully validating the barrier’s performance.
