We recently completed the installation of custom-engineered flood barriers at the entrance of the basement ramp for a major hospital facility.
The basement of this hospital houses critical infrastructure vital to its daily operations, including essential electrical systems, backup power supply, medical gas pipelines, and other life-support systems. In the event of heavy rains or flash floods, any water ingress into the basement would pose a severe threat to these systems, thereby endangering the lives of patients and disrupting emergency medical services.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, our team installed robust flood protection barriers at the basement ramp to prevent flood water from entering the premises. These barriers are built to withstand significant water pressure and are engineered for quick deployment and high reliability in emergency conditions. The barrier is in two parts with a removable intermediate column which is stored away when not in use. With this installation, the hospital has added a crucial layer of protection to its infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted functioning during extreme weather events and safeguarding patient lives.
